Credit card payments

Has anyone dealt with Veracity Credit Card processing for your business, or any of the others with sucess. I know I need a alternative to cash for small business', realtors and rehabbers for the on the spot request. Meant to get this two years ago after missing on a few jobs. Thanks in advance be safe out there.

I got a flyer from Square today. Free card reader, free shipping, free software download... No monthly or annual fees, no penalties for inactivity... Just a simple 2.75% deducted from each transaction. Sounds pretty good to me... I may be trying it soon, as I currently only accept cash/check and I think the convenience alone would be worth the 2.75%.

My wife shopped around and got the best deal. However, we no longer accept credit cards as less than 10% of our customers choose to pay that way.

Locqus . Same rates as Square and comes with the entire suite of field service management tools for free. We also tie payments to invoices to avoid double entry and free readers as well.

About 20% of our customers use it now, up from last year. Our older clientele will stick to cash and check. The younger busier people go with cards. Still have 3 that pay the entire season up front in cash, looove those accounts.

I have accounts with PayPal and Square. Used both a handful of times. No problems with either. I do like that Square puts the money directly in your bank account.
