A John Deere 930m, Kubota 227 & 327 is in your price range without the bagger.

Welcome to the forum.

Well, I run a Deere, so this isn't me being biased towards my mower brand.

I'll recommend the Gravely 452 over the others. You won't get a better made machine, nor a better ride. Demo, demo, demo. After that, demo some more. It's a lot of money for you to spend, and you want to do it right.

There's a guy here named GMLC that has a 452, and has posted a lot of pics of the QOC, both wet and dry, plus he has the bagger system. He'd be a good place to start for asking questions about that model.

Or, any Gravely model!

If comfort is important, I would recommend a Gravely Pro Turn 400 series. The air ride seat is amazing!! The trouble is that with the powered bagger system you would be a few grand over you budget. But like it has been said previously, when you get into a truly commercial system you will notice such a change in the cut from your current machine that you may not need the bagger system. I wold recommend a demo before you buy anything.

A good finish mower or belly mower is way less than that

It would be well worth it to have a tractor vs. a decitated lawn mower.

The 152 with bagger will fall in line with your budget. Smaller footprint machine with the Michigan seat and x2 fully adjustable inner baffle deck, you can cut through any condition. One of my favorite smaller machines!!
