I have a 97 f250 with 351 cu in. Been noticing lately after a highway trip if left to idle it wants to flood. Press on the g*** and black smoke comes out of the exhaust. Is something stuck? Maybe a fuel sensor?

Check this

Our 94 with a 351 wasn't dying, but it was running sort of wierd. There was a fuel or 02 Sensor problem, compounded by a fuel pressure regulator issue. It would either load up, or not have fuel, at the wierdest times. The engine never died, but it was noticeable, and annoying, Something related to too much demand for fuel because of the bad sensor, called for the fuel pump to run full out all the time.....
