Overseeding a playground

What type of seed would work best on a playground at a school? The school will block half of it off so the grass can grow until established.

One of the improved tall fescues would probably tolerate wear well and require less water and fertilizer. Look for a guy named "American Lawn" in the pesticide forum, he has planted lots of it. Kentucky Blues have more recuperative potential but requires more care. See if there is a John Deere Lanscapes in your area and ask what others are using locally.
