What you're paying per yard of mulch

Hey all, just curious what you're paying for a yard of mulch and what you charge your customer for install and all. Also, where at in the country. Take it easy and best of luck.

I haven't found a good supplier with decent contractor pricing. I pay mid twenties per yard depending on where I'm working, I won't drive out of the way to save 3 bucks a yard, every town has a supplier and they're all basically the same. I just factor it when I do estimates. I try and get 100 a yard installed for trimming, weeding, edging on a replenishment job. New beds are custom estimates.

23.00 a yard bagged pine
27.00 a yard bagged color
The install is determined by the job at hand and the work we do durring the visit.

I would totally use bags if I could find them under $2 a piece. So much easier.

I guess that is a personal preference. I hate bagged mulch. Takes too long to load & unload. Then there are all those empty bags.

I hate bags, I pay $22 and charge $28 for the mulch itself.

$25 for mulch dyed or natural. When it is over 5 yards we charge $80 per yard. When under 4 yards we charge $95 per yard installed. This includes everything but shrub trimming. When the shrubs get trimmed it ends up being around $110 per yard.

have to agree here…the higher price of bagged is more than offset by the labor/time savings.

I only tend to use bulk mulch on new install jobs when i can drive equipment right up to the beds.

Depends on if you have somewhere to get 60 yards at a time. We pay 19 per yard. 60 or 70 yards a truck can't remember
