how do you stay cool in florida heat?

I purchased a omni freeze long slevee shirt, wear a head cover I dip in water and it cools, drink lots of water, and at the end of the day I still get these headaches from being in the hot sun. How do you stay cool in the summer?
Bothe the shirt and headcover have a spf of 50

During season between April-October I start as early as possible and end by 12:00 PM. Usually due to the heat and afternoon rains from either the Gulf or the East Coast. Between say 4-7 PM I will resume with any work not completed since I have more daylight hours. Pace yourself and don't take on more work than you can comfortably handle.

I wore dickies they didn't breathe we'll. I just bought some World Wide Sportsmans zip off pants. Very breathable, repel water and at the end of the day they turn into shorts. So far they're awesome! Wear long sleeved fishing shirts as well they work well.

Dickies are treated with some kind of sizing/stain repellant. It takes many washings to get it out and they don/t breathe well until you do.

If possible, schedule the more physical demanding yards in the AM hrs. Yards with a lot of tree shade, mow in the hotter part of the day if possible. When moving between accounts, keep the windows down instead of running the AC, that cold AC knocks you on your but when it's hot, hot, hot! Drink water gradually all day, like my Gunny used to say "Sip it like a bird!". Don't ice your water down, drink it at room temp.
