Sent the guys out at 10am today. Worked until 6pm. Hoping to get a few hours in tomorrow. we are so behind its not even funny. they might work a few hours in the morning, wait out the noon rain, and resume around 3pm.

I will do your selling, as long as I can do the work too

just give me the name and numbers of property managers.

half of my sales meetings talk about horticultural practices, scheduling, fertilizer analysis. you think a guy getting paid a small commission knows all of that stuff?

if he did, he would own his own company.

I know it is messing with everyones schedule, but lets quit wining about and take it when we can get it. We were about 8" behind from last year. I would rather be behind schedule now than go through all the B.S. that was going on with the water rationing we had in 2006, where customers were cancelling the work out of fear of not being able to water their yards.

Clean your office, clean the shop, sharpen that pile of blades, make collection calls, call that lady back who wanted some little extra last week, there is never a shortage of things to do in the office.

Pick the kid up from school and take out to dinner, we will all be busy enough soon enough.

Sorry for the rant.

I went to take a look at a few of my lawns thismorning. I can't put a mower on any of the ones I went to right now. My foot leaves a mark so I know my hustler will. Instead, I sharpened blades, cleaned up the equipment some, and now I'll spend the rest of the day doing a little paperwork and maybe if the rain stops I'll go put out some postcards.

This is for anybody that is following the story. I just heard that they arrested two men in the robbery and beating death of Larry Brandt. It cant bring him back but its something.

Hey hope everyone is enjoying this weather.

I decided to post what I am looking for here to see if you guys are interested in getting rid of some of your equipment.

I am in need of:
*2 Commercial 21" mowers. I would prefer them not be Toro but if you are letting some go for a good deal I wouldnt mind.
*Stihl Pole Saw
*Redmax or Stihl back back blower

Dont really care how they look as long as they work.

Business is going steady right now. Few other irrigation companies going out of business has increased some of our work. Did you get a new truck Ryan?

We are way too busy. Will be running 3 maint crews within the next 2 weeks. Irrigation is booked 2 weeks out for 3 techs, and will finalize the purchase of a third irrigation company within the next 30 days.
Sold 5 more large commercial accounts this month.
