Hello Guys
I have a small lawn care company in northwest Fort Worth and I'm always wanting to learn new stuff. I want to see if any of the companys around the metroplex might want to take me under their wing to show me how winter rye is put down and maintained though the winter. I can only work on the weekends, but it would be some good free labor for you if you can show me how its done. Thanks

I'm in Allen, my first year in. Roughly 25 customers bordering Fairview. Would love to meet up and swap a cup of coffee.

Any guys in the area getting very many calls for winter rye yet? It seems around here like most people don't decide on wanting it until it's darn near too late to put it down.

Here in Allen, its a city ordinance we cant even plant it. I have a couple interested down the road though. Time will tell.

So whats the point behind that ordinance? I don't guess I'm familiar with any good reason to not allow it.

Water Conservation, they dont want us watering winter grasses. *shruggin* dunno.
