Well, how many of you lucky SOB's got some rain last night? It built up right on top of us and started raining about 10 miles East but once again not a drop for us.

I got about 1" but still not enough. I heard the wind all night long thinking it was rain but no.... Just wind. The rain was plentiful but it blew through too fast...

We got a sprinkle for maybe 5 minutes. Mostly just annoying wind. I thought my fence was going to come down. I could really go for a nice 2 day downpour right now.

Got 1" in the guage. I would say we probably had more just didn't make it in the guage since it was blowing sideways. Would have been nice to get a slow rain, but feel very lucky to get anything.

I just wanted to give you DFW area guys a shout out on this older thread. I know some of you are already subscribed to the newer Texas Roll Call thread. I'd like to get everyone subscribed so we can give those FL boys a run for the money for having the most used thread.

How many of you guys are TNLA members and will be going to the show this year which should be in Dallas again? Has anyone signed up for the OHBA Summit in Houston coming up in February?

Well I finished up about 2 yesterday for the year.

The bad part is that I have had our trip to Beavers Bend/Lower Mountain Fork planned for a month for some good ol Trout fishing, but now the weather is suppost to get cold and crappy

also they are saying we could have a winter storm on Christmas

. We are dry as a popcorn fart in my area but why does it have to get cold and wet when it is time for a little R&R. I guess I better get some good long johns because we are going to be trying our new waders, flies and lures out no matter what.

Well, it looks like we will be waiting untill later in the day to leave for our trip. I sure wish the sun would come out so the roads would start to thaw some.
