Craigslist Fairy all week last week

Couldn't lose on CL last week

First I picked up a Scag Turf Tiger, 27 Kaw liquid cooled, 1200 hrs, 61" deck, brand new JRCO 60" rake and Scag DFS clam bagging system for $3000

I thought I made out pretty well on that deal but then Saturday I ended up grabbing an 07 Permagreen Magnum, 500 hrs and fully functional for $450, same guy sold me a 200 gallon truck sprayer with electric hose reel for $150 and he threw in a JRCO zero turn spreader for $20.

It felt like winning the lottery.

I always miss these kinds of things.

I wanted to buy a dump insert, it was like $200. One snag, I have a standard bed and this one was for an 8'.

Im jealous.

You did good! I bought a bunch of stuff in 2008, everyone was selling, I got a near near new Bluebird aerator for 800$, near new classin sod cutter 1200$, bought my New BOP for 1000$ less than list. And a bunch of other stuff also.

Proves my point, you don't need a mower payment to mow grass.

I love Craigslist, all of my walkbehinds are from CL. Have also piked up several utility trailers. It really pays to buy slightly used.

All the good deals are far away from me and when you factor in the cost to ship stuff, plus the risk of not seeing it in person until it's yours; it's not such a good deal anymore.

I ask people to bring the stuff to me, even offer to pay extra. If the seller is misrepresenting what they have for sale they wont do it.

On vehicles I make them follow me home before money changes hands, if the thing blows up on the way its their problem.
