I could sure use you buddy.

Several LCO's here are short handed because the pesticide tests are now much more difficult.

They give you a different test every time you come in, and they nolonger allow folks to review their wrong answers.

One must study hundreds of pages of the core manual and also the 3OT manual. It costs $20 every time one tests. Many have tested & failed over a dozen times, and local testing is only offered 2 times per week.

I took my core and passed but failed the 3ot about a month ago. I was able to look over my mistakes after I failed. I took the tests at the county extension office and it was free. Paid tests are still $15, taken online at some college bookstore. I re-took the 3ot first Friday of the month and passed it! Yes the test was slightly different the second time, but most of the questions were the same.

I paid my $75 and am waiting for the renewal in the mail now.

While I was taking my tests there were 5 kids at one table and there was an adult giving them the answers. They were right behind me and it was too obvious but no one said a word to them. Like it was OK for the boss to sit there and give them the answers. Might as well been open book for that group.

Scott Co. Extension in Bettendorf IA.

It was as easy as it ever was btw, I needed to read the 3ot book again to pass it was all. Didn't read the Core, I got a 47/50 the first go at it. You can read my posts over the last 2 months and see I was talking about this as it was happening- I'm not full of it.
