Brake Band Issues

Hello All,
I am new to this site and was wondering if you had experienced issues similar to the ones that I am currently facing. I just put brand new brake bands on my Exmark Metro 48'. It was running fine for about 10 minutes then the right side started to seize up. The brake would not release even after I let go of the brake handles. I have tried adjusting the brake and belt tension with no luck. I am almost considering just putting the old one back on.
Thanks in Advance,
Dave

Jack the back of the machine up, run it and watch the belt, make sure the belt isn't riding high on either the drive pulley or the wheel pulleys. If it does, re aline the wheel, if that works, great. If not check the wheel pulleys for damage, bent sides, etc. replace them as needed if they are damaged.
