license plates?

Anybody know where to get some decent license plates with my logo on them? All I can find are the cheap plastic ones.

Pretty much in every state they are illegal. You aren't supposed to cover your plates with anything. Check out your state vehicle code.

Its just some states will enforce this law and others don't.

Personal experience and how I found out about this.

In CA, just about every deal put on the outer rim plastic plate holder with their name exct... Never in,35 years of driving have I ever been pulled over and warned or cited for it. Matter of fact, when I asked my childhood friend who is the commander of one of our local Highway Patrol office, he did acknowledge that yes indeed in CA it is illegal to cover the plates with anything, but never enforced.

In one day, I got stopped in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee all for the same thing. I had that dealer advertisement. The last trooper who was kind enough to do it for me after see how pissed off I was, took the outer rim off for me.

When I asked my CHP friend about it, even he said himself it was a chicken---t stop. I was profiled because I was on both I-40 and I-75 both major drug and I.A. smuggling routes. Nice black car that was anywhere from 1800 to 2300 miles from home. Only in AK did I get a warning ticket but didn't appreciate my life being put in jeopardy because a law man supposedly mis-read my plate because of the rim. Yah.balony.

In Louisiana we can put whatever plate you want in the front. We only have state issues plates on the rear of our vehicles.

I would love to get some vanity plates with my company logo on it.
