Shocked by ammount of people who are wearing white shirts! Either don't do dirty work a lot or full of stains

Why? They are cool in the sun ans bleach gets then clean or buy new ones because they are cheap.

Same. Any light colors help a lot in the summer heat!

Yeah, work is for EMPLOYEES.

Wait. I don't HAVE any employees!!!

I wear appropriate "work clothes" for dirty/physical jobs, but for weekly mowing, I wear bright green, breathable, running shirts.
It's not often that I get really dirty during the day aside from my legs (I wear black shorts) from trimming and my hands.

It's good to be king.

To be more specific in regards to the question posed by the OP...

In early spring/fall I wear cargo pants and T-shirts (orange, or green) and wear boots.

In the summer I wear shorts and breathable running shoes with an aggressive tread pattern and the shirt shown above.

I wanted "company" shirts, but being comfortable, and not looking like a pig is way more important to me than having my logo on a shirt. Cotton tees get hot and I sweat easily. By the first job of the day I'd have sweat marks visible on a cotton tee. Eeeewwww!!! LOL

These shirts are polyester and breathable. The shirts and shorts are running clothing. I got them at Target a few years ago just to try and I loved how light, comfortable, and breathable they were, so I bought a bunch more. They dry in minutes if you get wet - including sweat. The light color does not show the "wet" very much either.

They do NOT hold up well to "work" though - the material will snag easily on branches and such, but they do seem to wash well and the color stays bright WAY longer than cotton shirts do.

In the fall they went on clearance and I bought a crapload of them. I won't need new shirts for at least two more years - maybe even four.

Oh, and the black running shorts? Polyester with elastic (Ahhhhh) waistband - comfy and COOL. They haven't faded AT ALL and none have been damaged at all. Like the shirts, if they get wet, they dry FAST while working.

I was going to get "company" name put on back of the shirts with phone number and such, but never got around to it. I wear bright shirts for heat but also so people can see me! It would really be a bummer to get hit by a car on my sulky lol

I tried about 3, or 4 different styles of the "running/athletic" shirts from Target and to me the others didn't feel nearly as good as this style. It's as close to wearing nothing as it gets, but obviously everyone is different. I never imagined that poly could be so comfortable to wear.
Good thing I bought a ton of them because they discontinued the style - as I expected would happen.

No doubt. That's one of the reasons I like the "neon" green.

I actually had a client who is legally blind who answered the door one day and said "WOW! I LIKE that SHIRT - I can SEE it!" LOL!
