idol adjust on 27hp command kohler?

long story short.

while dx a bad coil i ended up pulling the carb. and cleaning it.

got the new coil in it but now its not running good when not under load.

can i adjust these carbs or did i mess something up when i took it apart?

How about a model and spec number so I can see exactly what your dealing with ?

i'm going to try the old carb spray round the gasket test and see if i'm sucking in air.

maybe i just need new gaskets.

grass...... A CV740 is a 25 hp not 27, There were a couple different carbs used over the years......

Without a proper engine model AND spec number my hands are tied.....

You know as much as I do. My engine sticker is gone.

Everride warrior states 27hp kohlers on all info.

I don't really know much else. That's the manual that came with it. Cv740 is all it says.

Sure,

Just like this one. I sprayed carb spray around it, didn't hear any difference. I did that and tightned up the studs. It seems to be gone now. I have a feeling the problem is still there. http://m.ebay.com/itm/131173271346?nav=SEARCH

That's a non adjustable carb, Did you remove the top plate and clean the low speed ports out ? In most cases the gasket sticks and rips upon removal, That can cause a air leak and bad idle......

Did you do anything with the accelerator pump ?
