Can you give us more detail? What kind of weeds? What pressure are you using? What speed? How many sqft do you get per tank? How many ounces herbicide per tank do you use? How many ounces per minute is your output in each nozzle? What herbicide? At what rate? Surfactant? What swath width?

Is weather too cold? Too hot? Too dry?

If what you're saying is correct, then it sounds like a herbicide problem. Either what you are using will not control the weeds you wish to control or you are not mixing the herbicide properly. Usually its the mixing(rates) when there's a problem like you are describing. I'd double check my math...

Never heard of a Z Max intermediate? which is it. Sounds like the Herbi your using or your afraid to mix the proper rate seems like a lot I know. But its right, Z-Sprays are weed killing machines.

I'm assuming you mean Z spray intermediate, which I believe is an 18 gallon tank, unless it's older like mine and it is a 20 gallon tank. Either way, with the pressure at 40psi and 5 mpg ground speed you shouldn't have any issues. Depending on what you are trying to kill, your ground speed can vary quite a bit and you'll still get good results given proper mixing rates and surfactants.

So if it's calibrated correctly, and the ground speed is correct, why are you blaming the ZSpray? It's an inanimate object doing exactly what it's designed and built to do: got the speed you calibrated it for to apply herbicides.

More info would be great, but I can guarantee you that it isn't the machine that is at fault.

Funny how some people always think it is the machine causing the problem.
