Question about Materials

Good morning everyone. I have a question this morning. If you had a material calculator to calculate how much of something you needed for a job, what types of materials would you like in in? Mulch, Sod, rock? What is the majority of what you guys are using in the field? Any tips and suggestions for this subject would be greatly appreciated. Would this be beneficial in a software program you are using? Pro's and Con's. Thanks

Why does the type of material matter?

Whether mulch, soil etc....the math is the same

Various types of bark mulch, compost, topsoil, rewash, various types of crushed clean stone, processed gravel, sand, wood chips......some are sold by volume, some by weight

I use Harvest Landscape Calculator, I type in the area sq ft and adjust the depth I want the material to be and it provides me with the results
