On a small job like that $100 just for the aggravation. Shouldn't be more than 40 minutes on site and on something that small I would do bags.

The rate per yard around here is about $65 a yard. $30 a hour for bed prep and for landscape cloth just charge twice what you pay for it.

I calculate my installs differently than most. I start at $50 per yard...add in for long wheel barreling into place...add in for slower installs due to a lot of flowers to work around. Then I estimate how long to prep the beds and add in $40 per hour to do that. If I were to average .....I would say im at around $70/yard.

Mulch around here is 34/yard for brown dyed. Add markup and labor I bid at 91/yard. Less if we can scoop from the dump, more if its a long wheel barrel.
