5x8 Trailer

I see many guys on here talking about how they started on with a 5x8 trailer. I've been using the bed for a while and now ready to use a trailer. I understand many want to start big so they have room to grow. However, I'm staying solo, with the Walk Behind and 30" Toro. I hear guys fitting the 36" Walk Behinds and 21's on the 5x8, which I don't see how. Is it possible to fit a 34" and a 30" Turf Master on one of these or do I have to go with the 6x8 or 6x10? According to my measurements the smallest I can fit is a 6x8. Correct me if I'm wrong?

it's pretty easy really. turn the 21" mower sideways. it will fit.

I can fit a 54" ztr and 21" mower on my 5x10 with room to spare so fitting a 34" and a 21" or 30" on a 5x8 should be easy.

30" wont fit with an 8 foot in most cases. Seems most walk-behinds are around 6 foot total length. 30" wouldn't fit behind it, even if turned sideways. 21" would probably fit, snugly.

Im a solo guy and after talkinv to other solo ops, the trailer manufacturer and the mower dealer, I decided to go with a 6x10. With a 48 wb and 21" its perfect. The mowers sit side by side, no fighting them or turning them. Just drive them on, strap them down and away I go (yeah, securing a load, what a novel idea). With extra room for everything I need; blower, trimer, edger, hedge trimmers, saw, gas can etc etc if I neede to bring it all with me. Having room on a trailer to walk is nice. Really nice. Plus when I do small mulch jobs I can pull the equipment off the trailer and fit 3yds of mulch on it without sides or over loading the axle and damaging anything.

If you can swing it, go with the bigest trailer you can afford. You will always find a use for it. If at all possible dont buy the cheapest one you can find either. My 6x10 carrys everything, with room other items as I need without it being packed like my wifes suitcase on vacation.

Its not best pic, but its all I have right now that shows it loaded...
