I am taking over my brother's lawn cutting business this spring. He used to have 100 residentials at it's peak, but he let it shrink due to his rapidly growing (and more lucrative) karate school. As a result, the company got a bit of a bad name with the Better Business Bureau. Is there any way that this can be removed now that ownership has changed?

Changing names is the only thing. Otherwise you just need to build the reputation back up.
