Whats the most granular fertilizer you've applied in one day?

I applied 5700 lbs today with a Z-Max. Almost three tons

You are going to get economies of scale answers on these types of questions. Small guys might think 10 bags is doing good. Big guys might think 10 pallets is doing good.

I agree, you can't compare. A farmer would put to shame the amount even the large commercial applicators can put down, which puts guys like me to shame who do small properties with a push spreader! I figure I work my eight hours, I'm happy!

24 acres.

I'm not talking about farmers either referring to DA's post. I see farm spreaders all the time with probably 4 tons of urea in them driving to the field. That lasts them about an hour then they go re load.

Guys doing large acreage with viton or pendulum spreaders can also top 3 tons in no time.

I put out 48 bags by my self with a pathfinder this spring. Would have taken several days with a push spreader. I'm loving this overly expensive machine more and more every day. I guess that makes 2400 pounds, could have done more I guess but ran out of fert.

Most we ever applied was 80 bags. 2000 lbs. T3000. (one guy/one truck/one stand-on spreader/sprayer)

Cadzilla -- that's awesome!

I have one account that I put down 10-12 bags down. I do it with a lesco push spreader in a few hours. I'm dead after that. I would think 10 bags would be an average day for me push spreading and spot spraying yards.

4 skids, plus a few bags. Call it 8300lbs on an athletic complex.
