String lights

I have a customer that wants the trunks of his king palms trunks wrapped with LED string lights added to an existing 12vac landscape lighting system.

My problem is I cannot find any 12vac string lights for the project.

Hoping that someone will have a work around/solution.

Thanks

To my knowledge, it does not exist. I'd recommend running a 120v power source to the palms.

I found this http://www.brillianceled.com/AC-LED-Strip.html, however my supplier quoted me fifteen dollars a foot. Which at that price blows up my bid.

Any incandescent options?

If you are stuck on low voltage, why not uplight it from the ground with standard bullet lights?

I have found that this company www.seasonalsource.com is a good source for holiday lights, etc. But no 12 volt offerings.

Trying to find 12Vac LED linear 'tape' light, that is IP67+ is very challenging. I am working with a couple of manufacturers of fantastic 24Vdc product trying to get them to acknowledge that there would be a viable market for 12Vac product. Time will tell.
