Changing out seat on Ferris?

I own a Ferris IS500z mower, It does great, but the factory seat sucks......I was wondering what modifications it would take to mount a seat off of a 2100Z or if this is even possible? If not what options do I have other than a new mower? Thanks! (And if anyone has undergone a similar project. Pics would be great!)

Northern Tool sells the Michigan (Milsco) V5300 seat for $349, sometimes on sale for $329. Sure made my Badboy ride smoother.

You will have to asks Ferris.. But it more than likely has the same bolt pattern.. Most mowers do.

Asked the same question at the dealer and was told it has to do with the height of the rollbar vs. the seat on various models. Don't know if that is correct or not though.
