First Real mower

is the 36" metro walk behind my best option for the price($3300)? this will only be used for my home i do not run a buisness just want a mower that will give me a professional looking cut. my lot is about 1/3 acre open and 1/3 open with trees and bushes.

Its a great mower for what you want but being a belt drive might drive you crazy. Would a 48" be to big for you? Its only a few more bucks and can save lots of time. Are you planning on using a sulky with this?

i haven't really thought about a sulky, i do like walking the yard. a 48 might just be a little big for my yards layout.
