Cleaning Spray Tips

What can I use to clean clogged spray tips without damaging the tips ? They are brass and one has a ceramic coating .

I use a air hose with gun at the shop or an old toothbrush in the field

Also consider, plastic dental toothpicks. Or the tiny dental floss thingys which have the plastic toothpick built into the handle.
