GetJobber / Online Bill Pay

I added one of my "big" customers email to my file to start sending invoices electronically through GetJobber/Stripe considering their always "vacationing." Their moneys always good, in fact, they pay me PLENTY. However, I just sent them their first online electronic invoice, which gives the option to pay online by card. He said he opened the email in PDF or something and used "Bank of America Bill Pay" which I don't understand. Does this mean the payment will still go to my stripe / getjobber account or that I'll be getting a check in the mail?

Wait till tomorrow and ask this on the "chat with us" on the jobber home screen. Someone will get back to you asap

Gotcha. Appreciate that.

Most of my customers just click "Pay my bill online" or whatever it says and it takes about two days to get to me now that my account has been upgraded. Never even knew you could do "Online Bill Pay" through your bank through the getjobber email.

If you use this method make sure your have good PC protection because the Gameover Zeus and CryptoLocker viruses are still out there even though US propaganda says it killed the networks.

Online bill pay Is a check mailed on your behalf. It's became popular because you no longer have to purchase checks or postage. Bank does it

Sounds like he just saw the amount and decided to send the money his own way.

When people click the link in the email it is all done through Stripe and mailing a check is not an option. That is the opposite of what you are trying to do by using E-payments.

Gotcha Landen. I appreciate your feed back I've been caught up and haven't had time to look into it. I dislike that he did that and will let him know proper procedure next time. But now the question is, what address does he have? The one in the system? My PO BOX? I'm thinking he may have seen my billing address that I have listed on my invoices and did the bill pay to my PO box. Hopefully at least.

Yeah I am surprised he did that. The E-payment would probably have taken less effort on his part then doing the Bank Bill Pay. If he looked at the invoice then that is probably the address he used.

Maybe he does not know how to use the E-payment through Stripe. You might want to send him a quick email explaining how it works so he will be more likely to use it next time.
