Valve wiring, looped pass-through splicing Question

So I ran across this in the hall of shame:

What's the proper way to deal with a situation like this.

I've got wire, just run today, that follows the mainline and where the valve box is, we left a 5' loop to get into the valve box. Since the wire is looped, it comes in and goes out, and needs to continue on to the next valve box, until we hit the end of the line and the last valve box.i

a 2-3 ft loop is perfect. Enough to be able to pull the wires out of the VB and wire it .
