Freakin g New Guy

Hello Folks,

I started this year after many years in a whole different profession.
I am in North Georgia where it seems that there are many landscapers about.
I am going thru the learning pains of doing this full time at 55 yrs old.
I have a Dodge Ram 1500 gas hog ,6x12 trailer, Exmark Lazer Z 52 " ,
Stihl trimmer , Stihl Blower , Stihl Edger, Echo SRM 225 weed whip.
I am getting some business but of course its tough for a one man show, but doing the best that I can.
I do appreciate the advise that I have read here and thank you all.

I did this when I was younger. This is my fourth year back in landscaping.

I turned 60 this May.

Best of luck.

Well Gentleman I wish us all good fortune.
Like all here trying to grow my business.
I just swapped the mulching blades and the metal discharge blocker and it made
a big difference on how well the lawns look here in Seattle oh I mean here in wet north Georgia.

Do real good quality work, treat each yard like it is your only yard, know how to make a pattern to each yard to cut down on time of job, get your prices correct.

Work speaks for itself we never really advertised in over a decade I am going all out next year, will also be adding in landscaping going to get certified always been strictly lawn care, we have been word of mouth people will stop us on other customers jobs and want us to cut as well we have run a small ad in free weekly paper about it, besides business cards.

This business is rough work smarter not harder always.
