automated credit card billing software

Looking for suggestions for automated reoccurring credit card billing software. We currently use QuickBooks to process credit cards, but it doesnt allow us to charge the customers credit card, just send them an invoice.

I wonder why quick books offers credit card swiping devices like Square for my quick books and not yours?. What version are you running? I have 2013.

Its an add-on feature... you can also manually charge cards or allow the customer a secure portal so they can pay online

Yes, its stored on a secure server....there is a menu option which takes you there...the billing solutions add on allows you to track the invoice to see if they have paid or viewed the invoice. The merchant service will allow for automated/automatic charged on whatever schedule you determine...I use monthly as almost all ours are maintenace agreement clients...I could choose to have the card charged weekly or biweekly for non contract accounts, never really thought about it though. Its all very handsfree...I download the charges every week or two and it updates my QB.
All non contract customers or one off work has a payment portal which is sent with the invoice and allows folks to pay online with a stored credit card

Edit...the numbers are stored and automatically charged or you can charge manually by hitting the receive payments menu, it brings up the stored data

GetJobber does the same thing. Vaults the credit card, just click "Charge Customer."

That is if you are using Stripe, which is recommended if you use the e-payments with Jobber.

Intuit does have their own system that is mentioned above if you use QuickBooks only.
