14 gauge wire

Anybody using 14 gauge wire?

My local distributor says it's getting more and more common on jobs... With LED of course.
And the savings are substantial.

Your thoughts?

Yep. 14 gauge is very common with LED systems as long as you understand the parameters of voltage drop calculations and the limits of wattage requirements. Personally, I tend to over-build my lighting systems for several reasons including the option to revert to halogen/incandescent if the need arises. It hasn't yet, but I'm still in the skeptical stage when it comes to LED even though I haven't installed a halogen system in the last 5 years.
