Even worse are those energy drinks. I shake my head when I see guys loading up on those at the store in the morning. They make me nauseous. I even cut back to half a cup of coffee in the summer.

Getdown how old are you?

How much water do you drink a day?

I have a bunch of pint cream bottles. I do not like to drink water. So my method is to drink one bottle for every lawn that I do. It allows me to see how much water I am drinking as the day goes on.

Also every time I bring a tool back to the trailer I have a drink. Put back the edger I have a drink. Put back the line trimmer another drink. put back the 21" mower, drink, done with the 36", drink, done blower, drink.

Water still in the bottle I work that bottle till it is empty by the time I get to my next job.

Last weekend when I was mowing I was burning up but kept getting these weird chills. I wasn't sure why it was happening but maybe that was it.

start drinking early in the morning, if you get thirsty your already dehydrated...get a camelback hydration system and drink at regular intervals....
-get a towel and soak your head under it every so often...
--loose fitting clothing, big hat and be sure to eat breakfast....sunscreen!!!

Avoid chugging and overly chilled drinks. Like everything avoid extremes. Even going from the heat into the AC of the truck can cause dangerous reactions.

Yeah. Going into the truck with the ac made it worse. I'm 27 years old...I drink about 2,gallons of water during the work day and a few bottles of Gatorade. It was very scary. I still feel "fluttery". Now I'm unable to find my trailer keys...think they may have fallen out of my pocket when I was laying down...
