Demo ExMark 72''

I Demo a 72'' 999cc Kohler EFI
Things I like
Seat
Kohler EFI

Ride was ok on smooth parts of my biggest lawn 100 acres I have, But in the rough part it was a rough ride on it compare to my Dixie Chopper the ExMark is a rougher ride
But the ExMark is faster then they post on there site I GPS it at 18mph wont cut at that speed unless its the Soccer field then it can
My 3372 Dixie Chopper will leave cleaner cut Running Side x Side
I couldn't run it on all the lawn since it didn't have a OCDC on it. The dealer said he wish he put one on it. On this lawn I have tons of tree with mulch around them and OCDC help keeps the clipping out the mulch.

Did notice between DC and the Ex The cut clippings coming out of the Ex wasn't spreading like the DC does Ex left a lot of clumps If the opening was wider, I think it would spread the clippings better

On uneven ground it would scalp bad I think if they would widen the rear end out it wouldn't scalp

Soft ground the EX would get stuck. I pulled it out and Took my 3372 DC mowed rest of the area with no problems even went threw the same spot the EX got stuck at.

Since sits lower to the ground I had to watch where I cross concrete ditches. I found that out when I went across one thats where I was sitting and I had go for a walk to get help.

Dealer said the Factory was designing Spring type front forks. I told dealer it needs them for sure.
I told dealer it needs 9'' rims I think if it had same tires as my DC I think ride would be smoother and he agreed on that and said he been thinking about doing that, I told him I want to demo it again when he switch's the tires and if they put spring type forks on the front.

Price Ex he price to me for 13k
DC I price one 10,200 3372 Generac waiting on a price with a Kohler EFI like the Ex

If I had all smooth lawns I would buy a Ex Mark but I dont

It would out run my 2011 3372 going forward but coming back The Exmark couldn't stay with any my DC

What's up with Dixie choppers and their aggressive tires? The ones in your pic are actually LESS aggressive than most I see. I swear some of them look like ag tires.

In 2001 they use to offer the tires I run after running them I always run them

I don't know why they put them Bar tread on there mowers

That's first thing I remove and put HD Field trac on

No Price I called today and he was off today
If they are welded in Yes I will cut them out but Since 05 they have been bolted in Easier to remove
The best cutting deck I had was in 92 and had no baffles and my 2013 is same deck design with baffles and I removed the baffle on day one

We swapped out the factory tires on our newest Lazer Z to the Carlisle All-Trails with wheels that had a deeper offset, the outside width of the track now is about 58" vs. about 54" with the factory wheel/tire. Even though they were the same size as the factory tire (26x12x12) they raise the mower just a tad and help out with the ditch issues like you had.
