I paid 400+20 for shipping no tax....
I love the machine but while i was picking up my viking yesturday my dealer saw that i had an echo. He wanted to test it out against the redmax 7001 they are both about the same maybe a lil more on the redmax.. but the redmax for an extra 130 bucks, the echo is worth so much more...:blob4:

Will be buying one in a few weeks. My dealer has them for $440 plus tax. All the other places have them for $459 plus tax. I've been looking for the new 750's- where are they? I can't find anything about them on the website. How much more do they cost? Is the air filter really a problem?

$410 is a really good price- wish I could find one that cheap......

I don't see the original airfilter being a problem. I have my original one still in there and while its no longer totally white, its no where near clogged! For as easy the small ones are to replace and as cheap as they are, I'll probably stick with my small one. It looks like an easy retrofit however to go to the bigger one.

Just ordered a curved tube for it yesterday.

I bought my PB-650 on 7-17-01 for the introductory price of $449.95.

Thats when a lot of places were charging $499.95 and it listed for $549.95.

It is worth every penny.
