pulling aerator with a Gravely ZT

Is there some kind of bolt on hitch or something for a Gravely ZT to pull an aerator? I haven't been able to turn up anything.

I guess I should ask first is it ok to pull an aerator? The aerator I'm using is like the one from Home Depot and I'm using it only on my yard for now.

As part of my analysis of "what to buy" I talked to an Engineer at a well know ZTR OEM and his suggestion was "NO" to any ground engaging equipment even with heavier duty hydro's. A cart was all that he recommended.

That's what I was afraid of. I might need to check out some other options.

Most brands offer that little tab hitch option. If your only doing a fairly small area and go moderately slow you will be fine. I assume this is going to happen on your own yard? The HD model isn't partcularily sturdy or well designed. Renting a real aerator will give much better results.

I contacted Gravely and they have not tested my mower pulling an aerator and said doing so could void the warranty. So, I guess I will rent an aerator for the time being.
