Sod/Pre-M
A customer of mine has an area (approx. 500 sq. ft.) that is primarily Poa Trivialis. She wanted me to re-seed the area but Tru-Green has already put down a pre-emergent application. (Barricade).
My question is, would it be possible to use a sod cutter and remove the area and re-sod it? Not sure if this is a viable option or not? She asked me if this was possible. A portion of the area is in direct sunlight in her back yard which butts up to the golf courses' property. It continues up near the side of her house that is a mix of sun and shade depending on the time of day. Any guidance would be appreciated. |

My suggestion is to wait until fall and do a renovation (if she can wait). Only other thing for immediate results is to sod now.

Thanks greenman. She really doesn't want to wait, unless there is no other option. I just wanted to make sure the sod route would work. I told her I would get back with her on Monday.
