I'm building a homemade bagger for my husqvarna. Wonder if the helper fan is nescessary in the chute? The husqvarna has a bagger that just hangs right on the side and holds only 5 bushels. (really only about 3) The main problem is it is very dusty and dirty. The mower creates alot of wind, so I'm not sure I need the fan. It discharges grass about 10 to 15ft. Going to mount it on the back, maybe 4ft of 8in. chute.

Mow in ideal conditions (dry, no lush growth) at home-owner pace and you'll be fine without auxilary fan.
