I just saw on L&L a machine in Germany that cuts grass with a laser. Maybe we can now all live out our Star Trek fantasies.

I had the same idea years ago. Couldn't find any
manufactured mowers and out of my leaque to build one.
I did wonder how would you get the grass to stand up
and if the grass was dry, you could have one big fire.

I saw it too. For $30,000 it ought to do a fine job. Precision mowing heights should be a cinch. Will it stripe? Wonder if it comes with a Mercedes hood ornament?
