Today my wife and I were getting off the interstate by the
local mall and when we looked over there's a guy on what looked like an old torro walk behind sitting on the engine
feet to one side, near the discharge shoot steering the
mower by the rods! Now I've seen alot of crazy stuff in my
9+ years of lawn care but that took the cake. I guess the
guys never heard of a velke! Just remember SAFETY FIRST!

either hes lazy or he's trying to buld his verson of the covertable mower....sounds like a good reason and no it wasn;t me..

We always used to do that at a few different lawn care companies I worked for. If you are on a BIG commercial site and don't feel like walking all the way back to the truck jump on the mower and let it do the work. Just be sure to keep your legs away from the exhaust and learn how to steer backwards and it is no big deal. Of course I would never even think of doing this with the blades on, but otherwise it is your own personal go-cart.
