getting frustrated

OK-now what? Maybe I am just impatient.
8 days ago I removed all the dead "stuff" from my lawn- Did a soil test. Bought Scott's "patchmaster", extra seed, soil and starter fert. Worked the soil and laid the Patchmaster down and overseeded with the fert. Been keeping it wet - I have yet to see anything germinate- It has been dropping into the low 40's at night since then and warming up to 60's during the day- Do some of the seeds die off and do I have to start over or just wait?? we are slated to get some showers this weekend.

Seed generally germinates within one to three weeks. If you used patchmaster, you didn't need additional starter fert or seed. I hope you didn't get too much nitrogen down at once.
