general health

ok, odd question i guess. i am 38 yrs old, overweight(according to the scale) and my diet consists of primarily: beer, beer, and fast food. my family has a history of cholesterol problems that dates back many years . i went for a physical last month, and was expecting the worse. my first year in business, i was feeling tired, and very bad, went for a physical, and was told my cholesterol was very high, and i needed to change my lifestyle. that was 8 yrs ago. last month was different. doctor said my cholesterol was excellent, and my overall health is very good. now, when i explained to him that i live on bacon grease and alchohol, he said my health is exceptionally good cus of the excercise i get from cutting grass, and doing the manual labor that i do. what is the general health of the rest of you?

Bobby- I got a physical last year, and with the exception of high cholesterol also, my doctor said I was in excellent health. My father has had a problem with high cholesterol, but there is no history of heart problems in my family.
The thing that shocked me was that he told me my blood pressure was excellent, surprising considering some of the things my employees do on a daily basis lol. I've been working outside for a long time, hopefully I can continue for many years to come. Now that I'm married I can eat a little better than when I was single( fast food and beer) Mike

Overweight by about 20-25 lbs and have asthma (which got worse when I added the weight).

Was in good shape until I left my job, which was very physical.

Health is one of the biggest reasons I would be too scared to stay solo and am working towards employees.

I am 6'3" and 215. March 1st I was 270 I only have 15 more pounds to take off. But I do eat a little on weekends. My health? Blood pressure is 120 over 76. I just turned 47 and my eyes are starting to go when reading and I can't hear half the time and have some ringing in my ears. Besides being old, bald, and ugly I am in great health. You see I can't do anything about the old, the ugly, the bald but I took care of the fat. I stopped drinking beer about 15 years ago, might have two a year and those sure taste good.

Get of the Riders. Should market 21"s for weight loss.
I'm a bit over weight but that was from lower back problems from landscaping and a case of 4 fractured vertabre a few years back from a fall off a balcony.
Just a few set backs!

I'm 52 and diabetic. I watch what I eat and keep my sugar under control. My doctor says I'm in great shape but not to quit my business of mowing grass 'cause it's the only thing keeping me alive. LOL

I just turned 30 in March. I have had high blood pressure since I was 24 years old and I take medication for it. My family has a history of heart problems. My cholesterol is surprisingly low. I weigh around 205 but I will lose some weight this summer at least I hope to.
