Can you tell me where on the blade you recommend removing material to balance the blade. Grind off the end? Drill or grind face of blade? Thanks! MJ

Quick Guide to blade service.

1. Clean the blade of debris
2. Place the blade on the MAG-1000 balancer
3. Find the heavy end.
4. Sharpen the light end to completion.
5. Sharpen the heavy end -
6. Re-check balance.
7. Sharpen more off the heavy end if necessary.

You do not want to take material off the end of the blade, because that would shorten the blade.

Drilling holes would be more time consuming, and the location of the hole(s) would be harder to determine.

Thank you,
