Ballancer Question

I got my balancer in the mail yesterday. Very nice built unit.
Mounted it on the wall, and was able to balance with ease.


I do have a question though.

The metal braket that is used to check if the blade is bent, it has a crack.

The crack is right where the bracket bends. Is this normal, or is mine a defect?

First of all - nothing should be cracked. But let me better understand what you are describing.

Do you mean the guage rod (long stainless steel rod)?

Do you mean the aluminum base bracket (red & mounts to wall)?

Do you mean the plastic bracket that holds the guage rod?

Which part is cracked?

I would like to know, because perhaps i can just send you a replacement part.

Yes.

Where the rod bends, is where a large crack is.
