The blade tip speed on a belly mower will be slower than most commercial WB and ZTMís. You will be more productive using a commercial type mower due to their agility. A Z can run circles around a tractor with a belly mower with much less trimming. Now if you are mowing in the ruff like a field where cut quality is not of importance a tractor will give a better ride and could be faster due to larger wheels soaking up the bumps. Do you have enough ground engagement work to justify a tractor if not rent a tractor or sub it out.

Buy some goats or you could try one of these........

I saw that and thought..."this guy has to be a local!!!" LOL!!!

Hello neighbor and welcome to Lawnsite!

As far as the info, name the mower and I'm sure I know the blade tip speed.

blade tip speed

The only pull behind pto mower I have found with tip speed close to a ZTR is the progressive. I have a 22' progressive with 18,547 blade tip speed.
