I have done some fill work on my yard and and made a very steep font to cover with some type plant like blue rug juniper or something I also put mulch to hold till plants could get established any suggestions on type of plants to hold this would be appreciated thanks

The juniper like that is nice. But in Oregon here, it almost always gets disease.
Maybe not the best plant in the world, but tough, with yellow flowers is St. Johnswort - Hypericum. Either leave it alone, or mow it down in February to refresh and do a simultaneous leaf clean-up if any are imbedded. Its still a decent groundcover. It will spread quickly if the soil is decent.
