Where can I find a tire gauge that will measure 15lbs. or less. The tire gauge I use on the car will not register any pressure for the tires on my mower. Thanks for your advice.

Mowman,

Go to your local Speed Shop and look at their models. Some of them are liquid filled, some are even illuminated!! But plan on spending a good $50.00 for a decent one. 2 lbs of Air in my Dixie tires is equal to 5/8" at ends of deck! So accuracy IS just as important as Drag Slicks. Also, now that it is getting cooler out, check your pressures again as temps here are in the high 40's in the morning.

Hope this helps.

Mowman, Digital is the way to go, I picked mine up at a local Coctco warehouse it measures down to 1 pound! I paid about 20 bucks.

Good Luck!

I bought one at Walmart for less than $5. Goes from 0 - 20 lbs. Works great.

Gauge

NAPA auto parts carries a 0-20 lb. gauge for less than 20 bucks. I've used mine for 3 years with no problems. Like dixie1 said, Dixie Choppers are critical for proper tire pressure. Who knows if a gauge is accurate, but as long as you are using the same gauge for all the tires it doesn't matter if its a pound off.
