Management software

Does anyone know of a good lawncare management software. I am starting a new lawn care business this spring and would like some kind of software to keep track of customers, billing, etc. I plan on doing this part-time unless it really takes off & I would like to target the small to medium size residential accounts & maybe some small commercial accounts. The software I've seen on the internet is very costly($500-$2500). Just looking for something more economical that caters to the small business people. Responses are greatly appreciated.

P.S Sorry I keep posting so many questions but I'm new to this business and want to learn all I can instead of just jumping head first into it knowing nothing and going out of business in the first year.

f4uguru-
for your application it sounds like Quickbooks would be your best bet. I just bought a copy of QuickBooks Pro 2002 on Ebay for $50 and then bought to books to learn how to use it (Quickbooks for dummies and the Official guide to QB02) together they cost me about $30 off Amazon.

Another thing you can consider is trying Gopher. It sounds as if our software would be a perfect fit to get you up and going. You can enter all of your customers, set up your schedule and get your invoices out in a timely manner. As you grow, you can add more crews and routes.
We offer a payment plan as well. You can make 3 monthly payments of $100. This just may be the best investment you could make in managing your business.

I can truly recommend this one. I've been using it since the start of the season an it has eased my operation totally. You have to use it to really appreciate it. Very detailed and user friendly. I like the reports. That tells me to the penny what's going on in my business.
It'll take you some work to get all your data loaded but once it's there, it's a breeze. No more paperwork.
