Sahara Rate?
My Lesco rep. said that the mixing rate for Sahara is 1lb per gallon. Is this correct? Thats $15 per gallon!

Sahara
Bob:
1 lb. per gallon? How far does your gallon go? Can't answer
your question without knowing what rate you are spraying.
For the midwest, 15 lb. per acre gives season long control..

Rate depends on annual rainfall in your area. Range is 5 to 19 lbs per acre.

In the SE, the recommended median dosage is approx 15 lbs/acre. that translates into .34 lbs / 1000 sq ft. (roughly 1/3 lb.) The Lesco fellow is giving you the rate for spot spraying to maintain bare ground. Check the labeling for spot spraying.

My rate here has been .25 lbs/1000 sq ft/gal of H2O. Have excellent control for over 4 months and it rained a lot early in the season. This is an effective rate of 10lbs. per acre. Hope that helps ya.

My lesco dealer just quoted me Sahara at 2lbs for $22.
Were you quoted $15 a lb?
