Dead grass

I'm new to any type of chemical/fertilizer. I got a call today from someone with properly watered grass, but it is still brown. Anyone have suggestions??

Seems many here have been avoiding this one like the plague, lol. Without some more detail it will be hard for anyone to diagnose your situation. MOwing habits? insect activity? terrain and soil conditions? local environmental conditions? disease issues? past history? well, I guess you're getting the idea. Without more help Emeraldlawn, we aren't able to give you much help, even though many of us would like too.
