Wagering web sites put yellow pages out of commission

After using the web to search for a couple of years, I have concluded that in Portland, the web sites will decommission the Yellow Pages in about 15 years.

Its faster.
Its in color.
There is much more information.
Photos are right at hand.
You can see the business person.
It has the phone number.

Right now, our site is more of a tool than a business maker. It more than pays for itself. But the advice in it save a lot of time for us, by not having to re-explain subjects to customers.

95% of our customers have internet. And its growing. High tech industry is massive in Portland.

Other cities probably won't see near the same development. But I'll wager that web ads will be "it" in 15 years.

So we are getting a head start now.

Hi Mdvaden,

"the web sites will decommission the Yellow Pages in about 15 years"

I do agree with you, but you never know, it could happen a lot faster than that!
