Same here, $7500/year for the next three years on 30 acres (not open field mowing) 15 bids. The guy said the last company had 3 mowers and two whips for a whole day and they skipped it 6 or 7 times last year because it was two wet. I wonder why that happened! Will these people in charge start looking into the companies more instead of going for lowest bid and complaining about the quality? We're already at the bottom dollar on prices I'm going to start charging to just kill off all of the grass and then they don't have to cut it anymore.

This was bike path mowing 6' wide pass each side total of 48 miles long. Trimming around 30 plus trash cans, benches, gaurd rails and bridges. Also included 25 intesections at roads that had to be cut and trimmed wider for visability and saftey.
Plus 2 parks. First park 1 acre and the other at 1/2 acre. About 40 acres all to be cut 12 times a year.
18 bids High Bid $35K Low Ball Bid $3,600.00 for the season.
